Across the nation on June 13th, the American Competitive Trail Horse Association will attempt a Guinness Book Record ride in every state in the union and they're doing it to raise awareness and funds for horses who suffer the plight of neglect and abuse. Coupled with the HSUS, ACTHA is ambitiously signing up riders on their websites while actively promoting and broadcasting this event. Atlanta news stations will be on hand to cover the efforts, and sponsors range from Clinton Anderson to Rick Lamb to Monty Roberts. Focal Elegance's J. Ann Brodland will head to Atlanta to cover the competition for the state of Georgia which is being held at one of Social Circle's most breathtaking horse properties, Peter's Creek Farm. Focal Elegance upload photos for online viewing and purchase and will offer purchase options on site at Peters Creek. Brodland will also be covering the event in major equine magazines.

For more information, access the ACTHA website.
Update June 15th 2010
Below are the photos from the Georgia ACTHA event which was an amazing day in the history of competitive trail riding. We will have the purchase options available shortly. If you have any questions, please send us an email from the contact page. Thank you and congratulations to all the participants. The NEW WORLD RECORD HAS BEEN SET! Over $60,000 was raised for equine charities across the nation and that is something that all of you were involved with in spite of the relentless Georgia heat. Special thanks to Stephanie Hutcherson for the enlightening side-saddle demonstration as well as her help in serving as a safety rider for all of us.
